Volunteer

Become a part of the Challenge family by volunteering with us!

We would not be able to do the work we do without our incredible community of volunteers, who give up their time to help us deliver our extensive range of services. Our volunteers are the lifeblood of the Challenge organisation.

Becoming a Challenge volunteer will see you take on many different roles – all fundamentally essential to our work. From being a camp leader to assisting at our fundraising events or helping with administrative tasks in the Challenge office – there is always a role for you as a volunteer.

Mandatory volunteer training sessions are held throughout the year, and all volunteers must undertake a Working with Children Check.

Nearly every day, we have someone volunteering their time to help Challenge in some way. Our volunteers make up a large part of what makes our organisation run from day to day.

If you want to become a Challenge volunteer, fill out the form below.

Please note: the application form will ask you to provide details of your Covid-19 vaccination status. This is relevant to volunteering roles, which involve working with our children. Due to the nature of our work, we require that our volunteers are vaccinated when working with our families (activity days and camps).

However, we still welcome you to volunteer with Challenge if you are not vaccinated. While you may not be able to volunteer directly with our families, you can support us in other capacities around the office and at various fundraising events. We hope you understand.
